In general, insurance premiums for National Health Insurance are based on your annual income for the previous year. Since calculation methods vary depending on municipality, check with the appropriate office of your municipality.
Additionally, note that the National Health Insurance system has no category of dependent family members. You must pay premiums for yourself and for each dependent family member.
National Health Insurance pays only statutory premiums. If you join National Health Insurance, you will no longer be able to receive the Health Insurance Society's own additional benefits or to use the Benefit Service.
